Account information — your name, email address, username, profile photo, and bio.

Community activity — the posts, comments, and replies you write, your progress through courses, your points and level, and the events you register for.

Payment information — the amount, date, and status of each membership payment. Card details are collected and held by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Usage data — IP address, browser and device information, and session cookies used to keep you signed in.

• Service Delivery: To run your account, the communities you belong to, and the courses and events inside them
• Payments: To take membership payments, pay creators, and keep a record of both
• Account Management: To create and maintain your account and provide customer support
• Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our platform's functionality and user experience
• Communication: To send important updates, security alerts, and service-related notifications
• Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraudulent or unauthorized use

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share specific information
• Community Creators: When you join a paid community, its creator can see your profile, your activity in that community, and your membership status
• Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our platform (hosting, database, analytics, payment processing)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety
• Business Transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or sale of assets (with advance notice)

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls on production systems, and regular security review. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law — payment records, for example, must be kept for tax and accounting purposes.

Huddlez uses Stripe to process payments and Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage. Video lessons may be embedded from YouTube or similar providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies, and we only pass them the information needed to deliver the feature.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though some features — including staying logged in — will not function properly with cookies disabled.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your privacy rights in accordance with applicable laws.

Huddlez is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our platform. Your continued use of Huddlez after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
